About the work

In the storm of leaving town

I anchored here, I rooted down

to this fearsome wind, I leant in

I found my way under its skin

I let it take me by the hand

I stared it down, I took a stand

and when I feel it stir again

I'll be ready to face the rain

to go against the hurricane.
