1-Day Etching Workshop

This course is suitable for those with no prior experience or as a refresher.


Places are limited to 4 people to ensure a thorough experience with one-to-one guidance from yours truly throughout the course.


Material costs are included in your course fee.

What should I bring?

Drawing inspiration

Please bring some sketches, images or ideas as an initial starting point for your etching.


Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring lunch with you.

Appropriate clothing

The process can be messy so please wear old clothes and sturdy shoes to allow for comfort and maximum creativity!

Who is Emily Crookshank?!

I am a professional artist and printmaker with 10 years of experience. In 2019 I received a grant from Arts Council England to help set up my own etching studio here in Thamesmead. I can now share something that makes me happy to be alive!

By train

The nearest station is Abbey Wood, a short 15 minute walk from the studio. There are regular direct trains from London Bridge station that take 35 minutes.

By car

There is free parking at the studio.
